Armand F. Lauzon, Jr. President
Armand F. Lauzon, Jr., is Chief Executive Officer of Sequa Corporation and President of Chromalloy. His experience in manufacturing has spanned two continents. Prior to joining Sequa, he held positions at two portfolio companies of The Carlyle Group, most recently as Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the John Maneely Company. He also led Firth Rixson Ltd., first as Chief Executive Officer and later as Chairman. Prior to that he worked for Precision Castparts Corporation, where he led the investment casting and forging businesses. Mr. Lauzon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts and an M.B.A. from the University of New Haven.

David G. Albert Vice President of External Affairs
David Albert is Vice President of External Affairs for Sequa Corporation and Chromalloy. He is responsible for developing and managing relationships with state, local and federal officials. Working closely with Marketing and Corporate Communications, he works to ensure that Sequa businesses’ technical capabilities are communicated to members of government at all levels, in a bi-partisan manner. Prior to joining Sequa in 2008, he formed the Waverly Group, a public affairs consulting firm in Washington, D.C., for corporate clients. He has more than 25 years of government affairs and political trend analysis experience. Areas of expertise include international trade, defense and aerospace, construction and building, and political campaigns. Mr. Albert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Oral Roberts University.

Mike Beffel, Ph.D. Vice President, Operations
Mike Beffel is Vice President, Operations for Industrial Gas Turbine, New Parts, and Military. With more than 22 years of casting experience, most of his career has been in investment casting. He spent several years in automotive supply, producing aluminum wheels for OEMs. More recently he supervised the design, construction, and qualification of a plant for producing IGT components. He holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in chemical engineering, and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering with an emphasis on the thermodynamic behavior of casting solidification.

John Bollman Vice President of Human Resources
John Bollman is Vice President of Human Resources of Sequa Corporation and Chromalloy. He joined the company in 2008 and provides leadership across the organization for all major Human Resources activities, including staffing and talent management, organizational development and performance management, compensation and benefits, change management, and labor relations. Previously, Mr. Bollman was Vice President, Human Resources, North America, for Whirlpool Corporation. He worked at Whirlpool for 19 years in various Human Resources leadership roles in North America and Europe. He began his career as an attorney, working for several years at Chicago law firms. Mr. Bollman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola University of Chicago.

Andrew Farrant Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications
Andrew Farrant is Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications for Sequa Corporation and Chromalloy. He joined the company in 2008 and leads brand development, in addition to providing public relations and sales support strategies. He previously worked at StandardAero, leading brand development and management. Prior to that, he led the successful corporate rebranding of Landmark Aviation, a Carlyle Group company formed after the merger of three aviation businesses, including an engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul network. He previously spent 15 years in marketing leadership positions at Bombardier Aerospace. Mr. Farrant holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

Mike Held Vice President, Finance
Mike Held is Vice President, Finance. He joined Chromalloy in early 2009 and leads all financial activities for the company including accounting, audits, and financial reporting. Previously he worked at Danaher Corporation as Group Vice President, Finance, where he was responsible for operating performance and financial reporting across a variety of industries, including aerospace and defense. Prior to that, he worked for the Curtiss-Wright Corporation as Vice President, General Manager and Group Controller. He worked for several years earlier in his career in AlliedSignal’s aerospace and industrial divisions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Michigan State University.

Peter Howard, Ph.D. Vice President, Technology and Quality Assurance
Peter Howard is Vice President of Technology and Quality Assurance. His career with Chromalloy has spanned 20 years and several engineering and leadership positions, including President of OEM Services, Vice President and General Manager, Vice President of Coating Operations, Process Engineer, and Plasma Process Manager. He also served as Director for various joint ventures, including Advanced Coating Technologies (with Pratt & Whitney), Turbine Airfoil Coating and Repair (with Siemens), TurboCare (with Siemens), Turbine Repair Technologies (with Rolls-Royce), and Turbine Surface Technologies (with Rolls-Royce). He holds a Ph.D. in metallurgy from Manchester University, England.

Thomas van der Linden Vice President of Sales
Thomas van der Linden is Vice President of Sales. Most recently he served as Vice President of Operations. Previously he was Vice President of European Operations for Chromalloy facilities in Thailand, Holland, and France, and Managing Director for the Gas Turbine Europa business, with responsibility for Precision Components Technologies. He also served as Managing Director of Chromalloy Thailand. He also has held research and development engineering positions at the company’s Holland operation, where he was responsible for introducing new repair processes. He holds a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Technical University in the Netherlands.

Dennis Walsh Vice President of Business Development
Dennis Walsh is Vice President of Business Development. Walsh is a proven business leader with turbine engine industry experience in manufacturing, aftermarket services and component production. Prior to joining Chromalloy, he held leadership positions at GE Dallas On Wing Support, a business of GE Aircraft Engines. Earlier, he was President at Triumph Accessory Service. Walsh has also held positions at Grand Prairie Accessory Services, GE Aircraft Engines, Howmet Gas Turbines and Precision Castparts. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Peter Watson Vice President, Industrial Gas Turbine and Aero-Derivative Sales
Peter Watson is Vice President, Industrial Gas Turbine and Aero-Derivative Sales. A seasoned business leader with more than 30 years of power industry experience, he is responsible for global sales, business strategy and growth of Chromalloy’s industrial turbine segment. Previously, Peter was Vice President at ProEnergy Services LLC, providing overall leadership and management for operations and field service engineering, including the overhaul and maintenance of heavy industrial turbines. Earlier, he was President, Package Power Services, a division of the Wood Group, which included TransCanada Turbines. Prior to that, he worked for several years at Stewart & Stevenson Services as a global business and technical leader.
