PW4000 1st Stage Blade
BELAC LLC, a Chromalloy joint venture, earned FAA approval to produce High Pressure Turbine (HPT) blades for the PW4000 aircraft engine in July 2009. The authorization is the industry's first HPT blade approved for the PW4000 engine and adds to BELAC's extensive catalog of proven HPT blades.
All BELAC FAA-authorized blades provide airlines with a proven alternative to the original equipment manufacturer's HPT engine blades. The blades are subject to the exact same rigorous engineering, design and manufacturing certifications as OEM blades. In addition, BELAC blades provide substantial cost savings versus OEM equipment—savings that multiplies over the life cycle of the aircraft.
