Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a opening to join our Quality organization.
Job Description:


  • Organize, implement and maintain production process flow.
  • Provides a hands-on process improvement using Lean Manufacturing methodology with a focus towards optimizing labor resources, operating systems and production flow.
  • Improve continually existing operation, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings through identification and elimination waste.
  • Facilitate rapid process improvement events, value stream mapping, Kaizen and Lean events.
  • Investigate operational problems affecting production and reporting and recommending solutions.
  • Define Macro plan of the facility. Identify opportunities within current state and create a future state action plan to improve operational and financial results.
  • Provide manufacturing data i.e. production control charts, reliability, process capability, to improve the process and monitor and measure progress to target outcome.
  • Assist in identifying ways to reduce production inefficiencies through recommendations i.e.:  new processes, elimination of waste, machinery enhancements.
  • Work with relevant departments to determine estimated costs, run time, cost reduction and close the feedback loop.
  • Train and supervise staff on new development processes and technology.
  • Provide assistance on development and documentation of KPI’s and systems designed to sustain and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to travel up to one week a month to other locations within a Western region to support improvement events.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.


  • BS degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field; preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years successful lean implementation experience with proven record of sustainable results.
  • Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing leadership role.
  • SSGB certified as preferred.
  • Prior knowledge/experience with the Toyota Production System is preferred.
  • Successful candidate will have prior knowledge and practical experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting with a strong focus in Lean Manufacturing operations.
  • Extensive job-related experience with LEAN Operating Model Deployment preferred.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement with identifying and eliminating waste using applicable tools and analysis.
  • Strong coaching, facilitation and organizational skills with a strong track record of successful change management.
  • Enjoy a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking – uses logic and reasoning to identify pros & cons of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Must be proactive, creative, and a hands-on change agent.
  • Should have team building and rapid execution abilities.
  • Self-motivated and ability to “think on your feet” when working and a “can do” approach to work.
  • Self-Starter who can creatively drive continuous improvement on their own initiative with guidance as necessary.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, computer and basic business skills.  Able to bring clarity and optimal solutions from abstract information.
